"CLAUDIA'S JOURNEY"

CLAUDIA’S JOURNEY WITH THE EMPEROR OF MALADIES, a one-woman show with a variety of characters, tells the story of a family’s experience with bladder cancer, from diagnosis and treatment to recovery and survivorship. Claudia finds that laughing at the absurd and comical moments is the way to persevere through the daunting world of confusing information and emotional turbulence. She learns that a cancer diagnosis is not a death sentence, but rather an invitation to ignite inner courage and an opportunity to discover what is personally meaningful. Claudia’s Journey explores how to demystify and remove fear through humor and understanding.

Written and performed by Elisa de la Roche    Direction: Jessi D. Hill     Music: Doug Hinrichs
